NYC coop survived the tornado!!!

Hard to believe, but a tornado touched down about 3 blocks north of my backyard...very rare for Staten Island/Brooklyn. My 1 chicken and the new coop faired very well with no damage.

you were lucky!!!!!! I used to live in Indiana and used to get those dang tornados all the time!! I dont here in virginia. Was that a torn up tree in the picture in back ground??? how did the house fare???

No damage at all. Just alot of water around. But just 3 blocks away, there were downed trees, downed utility poles and no power. We were lucky!
