So, what started as an idea by my wife finally turned in reality back in late July 2020. Neither of us have experience with chickens, had livestock, or had any hands on knowledge of chickens. But we did research, got city approval, and now are parents to (what is believed to be) 4 pullets. 2 barred rocks, 1 golden comet, and on black australorp. All affectionately named after the “golden girls.” Looking forward to sharing experiences and growing with the rest of this amazing community!
