New member but not new to chickens. recently started a new little flock with a new home when I moved to Ocean Springs , Mississippi. Have raised, showed, bred, cleaned, fed just about all the farm animals so far except a donkey but there is hope yet. Animal science trained from college, 40 years of medical and veterinary background, working farm to hobby. Have had Red production birds, Sexlinks, Black Austrolops, but currently trying Silver-Laced Wyandottes. Made my own feeder so my girls self feed thru Port Hole feeders I put in a plastic tub, cup feed water that attached to PCV and water tub outside the coop for easy filling. I'm a lazy hen owner these days.
