Thank You. This is the first one I have seen.If it’s just a one time occurrence, then not to worry. I’ve had eggs like that and the hens went back to normal eggs. You could put the picture in the Weird Wonky Egg thread here:

Yes! One of my hens sneezed yesterday but she was digging in the dust bath so I thought it was dustHave you seen any hens sneezing a lot? Corrugated or wrinkled eggs can be a sign of infectious bronchitis virus sometimes, but there can be other reasons. Check out 12 and 13 in the link below:

Ok Great. TY I went to my run after reading this and none of my chickens were sneezing, not even the one from yesterday. I checked them (11 in all) and none had runny noses. They are just getting over an infestation of worms that I didn't know they had. I treated them for 5 weeks once a week alternating Safeguard and ivermectin. They are all really healthy now as far as I know. Thanks for answeringThat may be all it was. I have seen infectious bronchitis in my flock once. It spread through many chickens, and they sneezed every few minutes throughout the day. It lasts in each chicken for about a month. Your chicken may have just had this type of egg once.
