This is the second time I’ve gotten an egg like this. 1st was laid about 3 weeks ago. I know it’s normal for pullets to have hiccups but the girls have been laying for over a month now. They get layers pellets and free choice oyster shell.

1st egg:

2nd egg:

No yolk but for all I know they could have eaten it.

Do I need to up the calcium? I’m not sure how I can. Their feeder is always full as is their oyster shell. Is it just normal and should I not let it worry me? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

And I do think these are being dropped by one of my three red sex links at night.

That is a soft shell egg.
here is some things that could have caused it but I’m assuming they just has a immature shell gland because they are pullets still ...
I would love to read these links but I get a 'blocked' message - any suggestions how to get round it?
