Hello all. I posted this same thread in the "raising baby chicks" section, but then I thought that it might be better to post it here.

So, we had eggs at school that did not hatch on day 21. At day 23, two of the eggs had cracks around some others had holes in them, but it's almost like they gave up trying to get out. But they continued to struggle. So, we decided to crack the eggs and try to help them. I now have four little babies who are struggling but fighting very intently. Two of them are trying to walk around, but they are weak. They often fall down on their backs and get stuck there until I turn them over. Then they try and walk. I've tried to help them get a drink. So they are acting partially normal, but I have this feeling that they probably are not well. Their fur is dried out and they look alright, but not like my peeps that I got from the hatchery 7 weeks ago.

Any suggestions on how to feed or water them?? I have this funny feeling they might not make it through the night. But they peep really loudly and are panting at times. I have them under heat lamp in the brooder. They don't seem to be interested in finding the food and water.
