How do you breed to get a Blue Golden Duckwing??? What type birds do you use to breed this color?

Blue Golden is Black Breasted Red (BB Red) + Blue.

First Cross,
BB Red male over a Blue female offspring will be Black and Blue

Second Cross,
Take your best Blue female and cross her back to her sire and there offspring will be Blue, Black, Blue Golden and BB Red

Third Cross,
Breed your best Blue pair from second generation cross and there offspring will be Splash, Blue Golden and BB Red

Fourth Cross,
Breed you best Splash male to your best BB Red out of Third Cross and there offspring will be Blue Golden.


Just remember that Blue will not breed true

Blue to Blue = 50% Blue, 25% Splash, 25% Black
Splash to Blue = 50% Blue, 50% Splash
Splash to Black = 100% Blue
Splash to Splash = 100% Splash
Blue to Black = 50% Blue, 50% Black
Black to Black = 100% Black
