OEGB Cockerel - Central Indiana

I have an OEGB cockerel, about 4 months old that I picked up at TSC. I'm not sure which color, probably BB Red? I'm willing to part with for free to a good BYC'er home. I'm in central Indiana just west of Indianapolis.

Tigerlilly, he's a real sweetheart. I'd keep him but I already have WAY too many roos right now. We're just 20 minutes west of Indianapolis.

mapquest says the drive would take about 5 hours...any chance you might be able to meet me somewhere alone the way?

That's a little farther than what I would be willing to drive. I'd love for him to find a good home but I don't really have that much time to devote to delivery. But thank you for considering him.

Do you still have the rooster?

Does he act like a rooster yet (crowing, mating, etc)?

Why are you getting rid of the rooster?

Does he boss the hens around yet?

Hi Sarah,

Yes, I still have him. He's not crowing or mating yet because he's low man on the totem pole. I'm sure he would be if he didn't have so much competition. And that is exactly why I'm giving him away. We just have too many roos and more babies hatching. He's not mean at all and doesn't boss anyone around. I think he'll make a nice roo. I also have one of his buddies, an EE roo that I'm trying to find a home for.
