Does anyone usually sell OEGB eggs this time of year?

I raise BBRED OEG and golden sebrights. I would buy them full grown so you can tell how good they are. However if you raise them from a chick they will be much friendlier.

Alright, well thank you. I guess my next question would be... how do I get good quality if the only birds someone would sell would be the ones they don't want because they are too old or poor quality?

Breeders aren't going to sell you their best bird that they've worked very hard to achieve, however the birds that they do sell are by no means a bad bird just not as top notch as the one they keep.

However, by breeding the birds that you do purchase and heavily culling in regards to the ABA standards, you can start producing some of your own great birds, that just may pay off in the show.

Are you anywhere near Frederick, Maryland? There's going to be a Poultry & Pigeon Show with a swap and sale there too at the fairgrounds on Nov. 5th & 6th. I'm sure there will be some nice OEGB there for sale. You would also be able to meet some serious breeders there, too.
