Off to new home!

Just so pleased to send a pretty roo and two of his sisters off to join my friend’s flock today.

I was so happy when she asked if I could give her a roo.

Placing the boys stresses me out. Hooray!!!

Oh, yeah!! That's a great feeling.
My Broody hatched two chicks last year and they were both boys. I was so happy when I found homes for both or them.

I've pretty much resigned myself to eating all of the roos that come from my breeding program. Is always nice to see a nice outcome for the boys though!

Yeah. I think I’ve secured homes for all the boys from this hatch. Assuming the two remaining actually get picked up. It’s so nerve wracking.

Part of me never wants to hatch again. Part of me is thinking ducklings next.
