Here is the website. www.arbico.com
Click on the Fly Eliminators then click on more info.
This should bring you to a page where you are offered a free one month trial. One unit is the largest offer they have.
There are no strings attached. No credit card necessary etc.
They will ask for a promotion code (had to find this in Horse magazine) Here it is : TRYHR

This one shipement will not rid your place of flys all summer as you will have to have new ones shipped on a regular basis but it will give you a chance to see them and how they work. Or save you money in the long run if you were in fact going to go with the fly eliminators anyway.
I already ordered mine and got them. I've been to barns that have used them and they do really make a huge difference. I also have boarded my horses at a barn that used them one summer and not the next and boy did that make a big difference.
Another brand is Spalding. I an going to start another thread to see what company everyong has had the best luck with.
Both companys offer one double shipment if you order about 4 shipments so finding out which one works the best is something to look into.

Hope this helps any of you horse owners out there too. One fly is one fly to many !!! Now if they only made a mosquito eliminator that worked as well !!!

Just ordered mine to use in the pig pen and around the chicken coop , we'll see how it works. The black flies are thick up here this year , my chickens love catching them in mid air and gobbling them up !! Thanks for sharing !!!!

I must be having issues as it keeps asking me for Credit card of Gift cert.

Go back to the home page. Start over. You do not need to create an account.
When you get to the fly eliminators, click on more info. Then you will see free trial, learn more. Click on learn more.
Then scroll down and click on the number of units you want to order. Of course you will want to order the largest unit, which is One unit which is $24.95. Click on add to cart.
This will bring you to your shopping cart.
On this page (in you shopping cart) you see the box to put in a the promotion code type in: TRYHR
Type in the promotion code and click on apply.
Then click checkout on the right side of the screen. This will show an updated shopping cart.
The price of the fly eliminators should be crossed out and the price should show Zero. If not try entering the promotion code again.
I had this problem as well but it seemed to work after I basically closed the window for arbico and started over.

Good luck.
Let me know if you still have problems.

Time is running out, so if you haven't ordered your fly eliminators do it before April 30th.
Plus just a tip for you.
When you place your order for the free trial they will ask first thing if the billing address is different than the shipping address. You uncheck the box at the top.
This will allow you to enter an address of a friend or family member that can order the eliminators and then put in your information and address for shipping. Then you can get a real good headstart on the flys by getting more eliminators to start with.

Good luck all, hope they work for you. This will be my first year too but like I said I have been to barns that used them and they make a world of difference.

And your welcome. I don't mind sharing with all of you. You are all great and I have learned so much from this site.
As least now I have contributed something !!!

They should work around the chickens but I would put them in the chicken compost pile. Maybe some around the outside of the run etc. I'm going to try it that way. I'm afraid the chickens will eat their larvae or the fly eliminators themselves. Plus if you have dogs, use them in their area.
I have 6 horses, 3 donkeys, 4 dogs and alot of chickens so I definately need them !!
Good luck
I'll have to watch the video, forgot to do that, thanks.

This was great information. Thanks for sharing the promo code with us all. I called the company and they were as nice as can be. I then went to their website and ordered a half-unit. I've only got two chickens and taking them up on their free offer by getting the largest size (a whole unit) would be wasteful. I'm thinking maybe I'll use some of the package and refrigerate the remainder. They won't last much more than five days in the fridge, so I'll use them as a second application five days after I put down the first application.
Will apply the stuff on the outside of the run, so the chickens don't scratch them up and eat them. The clerk on the phone said that chickens think they're delicious. (They're entirely harmless to the chickens.)
