The babies are here and all of them are happy, healthy and imprinted on me!!!

Ripley(dog) was so worried about the peeping in the shipping box she was beside herself. So after I gave them their water and showed them the food and even waited for their first poop. I had to show her each one she did a sniff, sniff, lick on each one to make sure they were OK and calmed down

They've been with me for 24 hours and loving the grass, in and out of the brooder. I'm in Tennessee so it was 87° and sunny.

As you can see Ripley's keeping everyone in "line"!!!



QUESTION: one baby had a scratch under her eye from a staple in the shipping box and her fluff isn't growing there. Should I be worried or should I just change her name to "Scar" from the lion king?

Is it just a little scratch or is it deep? Only a deep cut would need some disinfectant, otherwise it should be fine.

They're Emdens and growing FAST!!!

The scratch isn't to deep and it's not in her eye. There was some dried blood when I got her out of the box but when I cleaned it off it wasn't very deep but she's so little I was worried
