im excited to hatch them again....but i want them gone before i fall in love and have to make them a home LOL!

I feel your pain... My button quail are beautiful birds, but spazz monsters is an understatement. Every time and I mean EVERY time I open the lid to change water or add food or to grab an egg I have to chase one down that's flying up the walls, stuck in the curtains, banging itself against the window..... IF I could eat the little suckers I would, but there's not even enough meat on one to make me mad.

Interestingly enough I'm fixing to put 13 eggs in an incubator..

Solace, want to fix the spazz behavior? Put their cages right beside your toilet, lmfao. Believe me, my birds stopped spazzing once I put them behind the toilet (we have a weird counter behind the toilet, weird, I know). It was a choice between having a heart attack or getting over having people "pestering" them. They chose the latter.

They're much more enjoyable when you can look at them without "bonk, bonk, bonk" the entire time.

Uhh I think the quail would start planning my assassination. I could gurantee their taste buds would be burnt out. Guess it would be a good way to jolt yourself awake in the mornings though. BAM... BAM.BAM...BAMBAM..... Quiver.... oops ones dead!

Lol. I think hubby's stink possibly knocked some sense into my birds, lol. When I first moved them into there, hubby just about had a heart attack... Sits down on the pot and they started spazzing out, he didn't know they were there, lol. Mean, evil wife that I am, I about died laughing at him.
