Oh, isn't there anyone left that has call duck eggs?

I'm desperate to try again but every last breeder I've contacted has told me that they stopped breeding their ducks for the year. Surely there must be someone out there who has eggs?

Here's my story...you see, my fiancee and I are unable to have kids. And, I know this is going to sound ridiculous to some of you, but raising this little duck had filled every last maternal instinct I had and I bonded very strongly with it. Then it dies during hatch and I was positively devastated. It didn't hit me nearly as bad until I was told by my local breeder that his hens were done laying for the year. I really wish I could convey just how depressed I've gotten over this and the thought of having to wait an entire year is tearing me up inside.

I can't wait until next March to try and incubate again. We have our hearts set on a call duck, we don't care if it's show-quality, it's just going to be our pampered houseduck pet.

Is there anybody out there that can help me? I'll pay bottom dollar for fertile call duck eggs. Please help me be a mama again.
