The duckling catalogs are coming in the mail and soon they will be in all the Feed stores those little quackers and peepers looking up with the one eye looking at you screaming take me home
It’s that time I want more Ducks I want more ducklings, but I know I shouldn’t !!

That is the same issue we all go through! I got a couple new hatchery catalogs to look at. I want more birds as we lost some but we were over capacity. So I am going to do my best to avoid another case of chicken math!

Same here two of my ducks died in the last couple of months, but just like you I was pushing the limit forsquare feet in their overnight coops.
I’m so sorry for your losses it’s always sad to lose a lovely bird of any sort. I still haven’t buried my to their wrapped up in the freezer waiting for spring thaw . my mom jokes about how many pet graves we have on the property.
But about all those new babies that we wish we could have…
Of course, if we can just maybe build a bigger coop…..??
