Oh no!!!!! Noticed my feed has large chunks of what looks mold and dh has been feeding it to them wi

They are still healthy, I took my coffe and sit outside with them this morning since the whether is nice. And the girls were jumping up in my lap and running around chasing imaginary bugs since I don't think there are any bugs out this time of year.
our egg production has not fallen we are still getting 9-13 eggs a day.
Thanks for the link book marking it for future reference.

That's great! Fantastic news. :)

I had a similar situation not too long ago. I didn't realize the feed had mold in it because I usually fill up the feeders after I've put the girls to bed and light isn't that good. I got a whiff of moldy smell and decided not to do anything til morning. It must have had the mold in it when I bought it because it was a nearly new bag and is kept in a dry place - never had problems like that before. My girls were just fine. I'm glad yours are ok, too.

My best guess is that they should be just fine. Chickens are very hardy. However, if it is going to effect them you should start seeing signs pretty quickly.
