Oh, oh, oh, I see a chickie!!!

I placed 4 BA eggs under my broody bantam............. 21 days ago. I came in from work today. went to the henhouse to get scratch and saw a tiny little beak and eyes peaking out from under Ms. dottie's wing.

e Oh. Oh. Oh the cutest BA chickie ever!!!! 2 more of the eggs are pipped as of this minute. Goog gosh, as excited as I am to check out the eggs under her, good thing I don't have an incubator. I'd never leave the side of it. No sleep tonight and one ticked off banty as I raise her to look at the eggs!!

Ok, now calm down and get somebody to take a picture as you raise the banty....ain't nothin' like a good shot of a mad banty hen!
