Oh Lordy, last night something went amiss with my incubator and my temp was 118-120 this am, so the eggs were at that temp I can assume for 8 hours or so. Some I had JUST put in, other are duck eggs that have been in a week. Pull them or leave them???

I would definitely candle the week old eggs to see if there is any sign of life..the others???I guess I would wait a few days and candle....good luck...sorry to hear the bad news!

I had something like that happen the other day. I had just turned them an hour before and went to peek in and make sure the temp had gone back to normal. It was something like 112! I opened it and it didn't seem abnormally warm so I just put the top back on, turned off the heat and waiting to make sure the temp was actually normal. I candled last night and there appears to be life/movement so I'm just holding on. Sure hope yours are OK! I wouldn't give up on them yet.

Thanks....I know the duck eggs were fertile (getting their veins) but like I said I JUST put the weeks worth of collected chicken eggs in last night...so I have to wait to candle them. But thanks for advice, I wont toss yet if you think there is hope. Temp is all back to normal now. Checking the bators goes with my morning coffee and when I saw 120 I about spit it across the room. I think I bumped the thermostat or something being tired after putting the new eggs in last night. Any higher and I could have had hard boiled eggs for breakfast.
