Hello, I have a Westfälischer Totleger (Death layer) hen I would love to enter in this show. Does anybody know if death layers are able to be entered? If so, what would there class be?

The Death Layer would be entered in the All Other Standard Breeds Class (AOSB) since they are not a recognized breed.

And it's totally worth doing. Many breeds are AOSB until, like Nankins, enough people see and appreciate them so that they are added to the standard!

Enter as NRB: Non-Recognized Breed.

There is no classification for NRB, they have to be placed in the AOSB class until accepted and designated as Asiatic, English, Continental, Mediterranean, American or AOSB. If a standard description is written and submitted and a qualifying meet held then they would most likely be Continental. This was what happened with the Welsummer and Barnvelder as well as Marans.
