The OHIO NATIONAL has once again been selected as the location of the 2010 Eastern National Meet of the Wyandotte Breeders of America. This is the third year in a row that the club has selected this venue. The Wyandotte classes are always large and the competition fierce at Columbus. Just the way everyone likes it.

Not to be overlooked is the fact that the Junior Show at The OHIO NATIONAL also has a very respectable showing of Wyandotte Bantams. Wyandottes is one of the most popular breeds with youngsters. Most of the colors in Wyandottes are not difficult to breed and they are hardy and easy to raise. Here in the Great Lakes are the summer fair classes of RCCL are dominated by junior exhibitors and their Wyandottes.

There is more to learn about Wyandottes, both bantams and large fowl at the club website-

Headlining the November 13th & 14th event this year will be the National Meet of The American Bantam Association. Joining along will be the National Meets of the American Dutch Bantam Society, The Serama Council of North America and the first of the American Buckeye Poultry Club.

Arrangements have also been made to have a gathering of BYC members. As one of the “heritage breeds” Wyandottes have captured the fascination of many backyard poultry people who frequent this site. It is hard to imagine that there will be a bigger showing of large Wyandottes to be enjoyed anywhere other than at The OHIO NATIONAL.
