I have a roo that is RIR over leghorn hybrid. and I have a BR, could any sexlinking occur through this cross?

keep in mind, the roo is half rhode island red and half white leghorn.

the br is pure

Your RIR X White Leghorn male should be white, when crossed to a Barred Rock hen you could get various shades of black tailed gold/reds,various shades of white tailed gold/reds,whites, columbians, blacks, cuckoos, various shades of barred tailed gold/reds, and delaware patterned birds, all in both sexes.

See, I originally typed that the barring is sex-linked, so with a Barred hen the male offspring will be barred unless the mixed roo passes on a dominante white. I doubted my answer though since I am just learning chicken genetics. Guess I should have a little more self-confidence.

Henk...that is interesting! I didn't know that you could get ghost barring!

Well the ghost barring I mean is the same as real barring. Dom. white, when from crosses with non-white or heterozygous, can be a grayish white. In that case the barring would show as alternating grayish white, white, grayish white etcetera. But it doesn't have to be grayish.
Furthermore the barring can be absent on some color backgrounds eg wheaten or blue. Then you wouldn't see much either.
