I have 3 cornishx....that are 21 weeks old...and laying. I know....I should have processed them looong ago...but thats another story. Anyways...by BO Roo has had his way with them....several times....and they have been laying faithfully for about 3 weeks. Can I incubate these eggs?? Will they hatch? What do you all think will be the results? Should I even try??

They should hatch just like any other egg. Not sure what will come out though. Will be meaty but not like the original birds since they have hybrid genes in them that don't breed true. Can't hurt to try! Let us know if it works out! It would be interesting to see the results.

ok, well...thats it, DH is gonna be sooo upset.....but I am going to collect a few eggs over the next few days...and give it a shot.

I think I know this one

silkie is my answer right or am I way off base

cornishx mean cornish crossed with something so only 1/2 of genes are cornish other 1/2 are the cross so now 1/2 of gene in egg will be BO other half will be( this is where geneology gets me) cornish or will be the cross

so no chance of getting another cornishx since half of genes are BO

right or wrong
