I tried when these pullets were younger to figure out what they are. But they keep changing on me. I swear once I "think" I know what they are, they go and confuse me again. I'm hoping that now that they are about to lay, that it might be easier to tell what they are, or what mix they might be...

Thanks in advance!

What I think is a Buff Rock???

And this one has been called a BR mix and a Marans?...

And last but not least... What is or could she be?

Agree, 100%.

You'll love your Delaware, even if she is a hatchery girl, they're probably one of the best birds you could ask for!

OK, I am going to be the party pooper here.

The white one looks more like a Sussex, the comb isn't lage enough for a Delaware. I am out next to the pen looking at my Sussex right now.

The Maran might be just that, but again I am sitting next to my Maran pullets, and their faces and combs look different. Dominique, perhaps?

The buff one I can't hazard to guess about.

Ehjoy your girls!

Not a Light Sussex.. Look at the barring in the tail and the ticking in the neck feathers dead give a way of a Delaware.
Thea barred ones are Barred Rock they look to have a Single Comb and a Dominique would have a Rose Comb...

agree X3
Third hen would not be Light Sussex not only from everything else mentioned but also Sussex have pearl/white legs.

Me, too- and a Sussex would have a much heavier body and a much rounder/less streamlined head.
