What is the easiest way to weigh a chicken. I have tried many ways and they always seem to wiggle out of the support I made for the scale. There must be an easy way. John

If you have a digital bathroom scale, weigh yourself then weigh again holding a chicken! It might work!

I have a postal scale.
1st I put a small box on the scale and reset it to 0
then I put the chick in the box and then weigh it. If it is a bigger chick or chicken you could put them in a box with a lid.

We use a small Rubermaid trash can with a lid. The dark calms tehm down and lets the scale stabilize.
