I am going to set some eggs tomorrow morning, turn them by hand for a week..will it be ok to put them in a turner after that? Not sure if this would cause some type of problem with the air sac?

I don't see any reason that it would hurt them at all. I suspect chickens aren't terribly precise, so I think handturning, then switching to an autoturner, or vice versa, would hurt things at all.
