ok..neighbors sick chicken keeps coming over here!!

Before you can treat your flock you really need to know what the neighbors chickens died from.
Broad spectrum anitbiotic might work but its iperative to find out what the issue was . then it will be easier for us to advise you how to treat.
I am so sorry this is happening to you, do what you have to do.

Edit: because the M key doesnt want to behave.

If you have already warned your neighbors, I would catch him and put him in a cage away from the other chickens. I would then call animal control and let them handle the rest.

You don't want your chickens dieing because of this sick chicken. I also take pictures of any neighbor's animal on my property in case I need it as evidence (for court). The camera dates and stamps the time. I have so many pictures, I have a photo album. Once I take the pic, I then go to the whatever neighbor it is and show them and ask them to keep their animal off of my property. Works everytime.

I would not touch him!!! I would get rid of him and know one would know. If you keep him on the property you are bound to accidentally break the quarantine. Spray a strong clorox solution around the outside of your fence also. That is what the guy from NPIP told me to do. Its not safe for your flock. This stuff can travel through the air too, like sneezed particles. If he were to get better he may become a carrier and then what. If the disease is unknown its not safe to dawdle. Good luck Gloria Jean

Honestly, if they care so little about him anyway, I'd cull him and burn the body so no animals could dig it up or sprinkle lime on the body after burying it very deeply. There's no way I'd allow that poor rooster to endanger my flock further. I wouldn't even quarantine him on my property, either. You already know he's ill or a carrier of something, so quarantine really makes no sense.

Animal control may adopt him out if he's not showing symptoms and I'd hate for someone else to get that problem.

Really, I feel bad for this poor guy…happy chickens don’t wonder that far; he is just lonely and traveling over to be with your birds. But, I have to agree with speckledhen on this. I don’t see any sense with quarantine; cull and burn. If your neighbor lost his whole flock, and if this was from disease, it is reasonable to assume that this Ro is a potential carrier. From what I understand, it is difficult to treat without knowing what to treat. I would lock up my birds, and watch them closely for any sign of distress. I would try to clean their areas up the best I can, and maybe start them on ACV and some organic apple cider vinegar just for good measures. I think I would probally do this just so I knew I tried to do something to give them the boost they might need to fight this threat.
