Ok Newbie Here

Hello I am Jeannie stay at home but busy wife to my high school sweet tart Jason, we have two spunky kids... DD(13) and DS(8) both of whom I home school, Currently call Oklahoma Home (per Army) and purchased our first hobby farm 9 months ago while the hubster was deployed...Thank goodness that 15 month deployment recently ended. Our barn yard adventures include raising


2 white Emden Goslings

6 ducklings(still trying to figure out their breed)

5 Bronze baby Turkeys

With 14 Rhode Island Reds and 14 Barred Rock chicks on the way..

We also are momma and dad to the following fur babies

a Shetland pony(Trisket)

2 nubian does(Sophie and Baby G)

2 Cats ( Sir Lancelot and Shadow)

1 Dog ( Dixie of the East Side)

We are new to the chick raising ( or any fowl for that matter) and look forward to the adventure of barn yard in our back yard. I have found this website via my search for making brooder boxes and was quite pleased with the pictures and demeanor of ya'lls kindness to one another.

I look forward to getting to know each of you and learning all there is about raising chicks through your guys wisdom. THANKS
