ok, so they aren't trying to escape...possible help needed

Hi all. My baby chicks keep moving away their pine shaving bedding and just pecking at the poster paper floor i have in their home. is this normal? is this okay? let me know, my byc neighbors

okay so i figured out that they had just knocked some food there...should i stop them or let them keep scratching for it?

thanks just normal chick behavior. as adults they will do the scratching too. so do not worry about it unless they are actually eating lots of that paper.
