I had a cochin bantam hen that started limping on one leg! Then she started dragging it behind her!I put her in a separate cage tinking it was brken so she could heal! Then she lost all balance then could not hold up her head! At the end she had one eye all closed up! She had o be put down! Now I have a Barred Rock with one eye closed! What could this be???????

Research Marek's disease. It sounds like a neurological thing.

Even though the 2 birds came from different places and are different breeds and aregetting it one after another?

Unfortunately, it does sounds like Marek's. It is a highly contagious viral disease, and I had to cull my entire flock because of it.
