Excuse the poo on the tramp cleaning it tomoz

My girls do that when they are cooling off. Sometimes they will spread out their wing too if they are soaking up dome rays

. First time I saw it, I thought my chicken had a heart attack and fell over

Thanks i never had seen a chicken ever do that i have seen the wings spread but this is new!!!!.... All I could think was though the laughter was REALLY???? Hey what does it mean when they make a really long bawk sound they are 12 weeks and the Amber's are becoming really noisy but one nicked named squeaker after today started doing it only today. Any ideas???

Sounds like she is starting to feel like a pullet instead of a chick. A mature hen will make all kinds of noises.

My girls will go into a chorus when I head out to let them out for the day.

Bwwwwwaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwww Bbbbuuuurrrrrrrrraaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwww

Go to ):45 of this video. Is that the sound your girl is making? Sometimes it almost sounds like they are complaining. When my girls started to mature into pullets, they started honking like geese. it was funny. Like a teen age boy, their voices will change as they age.

And here is one for you to laugh about.

No that one i knew i get that every morning if i dont let them out soon after i get up, It was more of a warning of predators but there nothing around so I don't know what the noise was all about .... But I have also noticed that the Amber's comb, face are getting redder compared to 2 weeks ago, surely at almost 13. Weeks their not at pol yet... And I haven't heard any crowing or seen any fighting to suggest roos
