So, I have a Lamancha doe who is just over a year old, and I've had her since the day she was born. She has 2 doelings that are 3 months, and the Boer daddy penned in with her in a pastured yard. She gets plenty of hay, more grain than she should ( she shares pasture with a Large Black sow and her 2 month old baby so she steals their food) access to baking soda, loose minerals, leftover baked goods and food scraps from my bakery, and I cut down a few trees a day to let them nibble on. Her feet were just done, she was wormed 3 days after the babies were born, and shes NOT sickly. However, she ALWAYS whines at me. Every time she sees me, anytime she hears me. Non stop crying. When I google this, it always turns up with "sick goats" but she isn't sick that I can tell ( and shes not my first goat by any means) She eats, plays, nurses the babes, drinks and roams ( and gets her head stuck in the fence. shes currently rocking the dunce stick on her horns

) So any idea what the deal is? Her mom wasn't a whiner, and shes teaching her babies the same thing. Their daddy, the Boer, is the quietest, sweetest buck ever, and I was really hoping they would take more after him. How do I break this habit, or am I missing something in her diet, or just overlooking something?

Man, i was kind of hoping that wouldn't be the answer

I had pipe dreams of getting her to be a "little" quieter than she is, because I always feel like I'm neglecting her or something...I guess I should just be happy its just her goatie personality and not a deficiency in my care!

I have 9 goats n as soon as all 9 hear me r see me they all start winning the only one that not so bad is my buck he can care less if I don't have food hay r treat I'm bringing the worst is my two bottle feed babies
