I just moved to Piedmont Oklahoma on and acre and a half just so I could have a little hobby farm too! I have WAY TOO MANY DOGS (6), three cats, 4 ducks: two muskovy, one call, and one Mallard. All of which are "rescue ducks". I work at a vet clinic and word got out that I had ducks. My newest obsession are my chickens. My RIR rooster is also a rescue. A man had him in the trunk of his car. A friend of mine gave me 6 hens. They are Cinnamon Queens I think. I also was getting baby fever and just got 6 baby chickens from TSC and I think they are Barred Rock! I am so in love with my birds. They are the best!!!

I have an sweet aunt in Oklahoma near Tulsa (Henryetta is less than one hour) and she has had four laying hens and one mean rooster. I am trying to get here three or four more laying hens. Preferably Orphingtons because the "mean" rooster only goes after her one Orphington and poor hen, she is hiding under the nesting box. She could also replace the rooster. She likes to eat eggs she is not a breeder. She knows how to can all kinds of stuff even meat and make powder or dry things. Possibly eggs too. Maybe you would like to meet her or could help me find her some local layers. Maybe sick your dogs on that mean rooster over there. HA!

I'm in Atoka and just ordered me some chicks
Maybe this fall we could fix her up.
I found some Rose Combed Rhode Island Whites. ( pretty hard to find) I'd like for a few of us here in Oklahoma to try to have some of these chickens and trade out a rooster or hen with each other from time to time.

She stilll needs help. Write her because she has very pretty watch dog of a rooster who does not have enough hens to play with, and eithe

r needs a new home or more adult hens to play with.

Hey guys! I am in Tulsa. I have 2 roosters that I need to rehome. They are about 4 months. One is more subdued but the other is getting aggressive. He is doing what he is supposed to do and protecting his ladies but I have kids and neighbor kids that go in there and I can't chance them getting hurt.
