Old egg incubators

my oldest egg incubators, I’m still trying to figure out what the incubator in the middle is. Would be great if someone can help :)

I don't know what the egg in the middle is, but I had these before, they are not great. But one thing I did was incubate with these inside a smaller box with holes on top and bottom sides I would just lay a cardboard over the top with holes also. This would keep it warmer.

although you can make a better incubator than those bubble ones.

You can use the bubble one as a brooder, if you have just a few chicks. Below is a lid for potato salad, but it is the same size as the rim of the bubble incubator. You cut slits in box as high as above baby chicks, turn the bubble incubator upside down with only the yellow bottom, and light in side, this is great for temporary.

Yes this did help a lot! I plan on building this in the spring for my new batch of cochin hybrids.
