Jaime is a good judge. Judges don't always agree even tho there is only one APA SOP. This is part of human nature. Not all doctors are top of the class and neither are all judges. (Most beginners. 15 years or less) Think they know better than the judges.......happens all the time. I don't always agree with judges decisions just within my own birds, but I know that I have weeks to look at them and they have a minute to look at them. Bad judges don't get the judging jobs Jaime gets. I don't always agree with him either, but I think he is a good judge. I'm on the ABA judges licensing committee and have been on the same APA committee, so it's not like I can't tell who a good judge is.
Mostly judges get run down by newbies that don't win.

I take any criticism as ways to better my birds and my stock, and Jamie has been very helpful in that department. I know that no one is perfect, and he explained how many judges have different opinions on different faults. He explained to me why my cochin was DQ for vulture hocks, and how different judges have different interpretations of them. (IE: stiff feathers).
I don't regret going to the show at all, and it makes me look forward to the next one!
