Old hand, new chicks, new questions

Good morning! I've had chickens for 14 years but received chicks yesterday from a friend whose hens hatched out some but then rejected them. Been a long time since I had any this young (if ever). They are two or three days old. I have questions. Ya'll have answers. Glad to be here.
