Hi all, I have a flock of White Silkies with one roo named Sarge. The Cock is about 5 years old but some of the hens are pushing 7-8 years. They all seem healthy right now but I have noticed that we are just not getting the number of eggs that we used to get. Right now, near the end of summer in NorCal all the birds except those designated sitters spend all day out in the field, pecking, scratching, dusting or just sun bathing. It seems we always get more eggs when the seasons require that the birds spend more time cooped up. Do any of you out there have a clue as to when bantams peak out in their laying behaviors or abilities?

Thanks in advance
