old hens small vents

so i was given these hens and they had good production for a few days then be cause of the move they commenced molting. after three months i started getting concerned so i did a random vent check and i found the size of their vents had shrunk. i was told they were only two years old. does this mean they stopped laying?

What kind of hens are they? If they are production birds, that's entirely possible. I hope you didn't pay anything for them.

they are White leg horns a bout two and a half years old. i did not spend any money on them. so no lost just i now have a lot of chickens and need to do something with them all.
