Good morning!! Several years ago, I had posted about my wife and children joining this group in the hopes of learning to get a flock going. We did, however, we got out of it due to our kids in many groups at school (band, drama, etc.) and it took too much time away from us to devote to the chicken life. Well, now the kids are grown and out on their own and we've just joined the Order of Grandparents!! Susan and I are getting ready to dive into raising meat birds with laying hens for fresh eggs. And, hopefully, we will be able to get the little one interested enough to want some chickens of their own! Here we go!!!
