Remember the "Good" all days when we had to turn all the eggs we incubate by hand and we had to fill up the water pan 'ever day cause it would run out?
I got a 1588 Genesis Hova-Bator with Automatic Chicken and Quail Turners..I'm incubating and .. well..it just doesn't feel like incubating anymore!

All I have to do is add water every 2-3 days and then pull'em 'outta the 'bator!! Just doesn't feel like incubating anymore.

I have to turn by hand, and fill the waters every other day. I feel a "connection" this way.

(Not that I wouldn't LOVEE A state of the art incubator

)

I do love hatching via broody hens, now that's close to state of the art

I turn mine in my styrofoam bator by hand ( with cartons) & have very good hatches.

I use my pigeons as incubators. All you have to do is change the feed and water, navigate through the maze of pecking, growling beaks and sacrifice a finger or two for some candling pics. Aww, the connection. Can't get better than that.
