Heyo, I’m Sparta. I’ve raised chickens since I was a child with my family and I love them nowadays, too! I want to raise polish hens that lay more eggs— not for profit but for my own enjoyment.
I am here to learn and also identify the two chickens I have but do not know the species of.
I have eighteen chickens on the premises— twelve of which are mine and six of which are being raised for a friend.
In total: one americauna, two buff orphingtons, a speckled sussex, a rooster and a hen of unknown breeds, and twelve australorps.
I hope to breed hens in the distant future as a pet project— not for profit, so I’ll probably be stalking those threads
