Hi all.
I'd like to introduce myself. I grew up in a farm life, with livestock and crops, but am in the medical field today. I had chickens when I was in my 20s, but life circumstances had me in a position that it wasn't possible to continue. Several years ago we purchased a place in the country with 6 acres. I've been an avid gardener, veggies, berries, and assorted fruit trees. I've been wanting chickens since moving here, and now it's happening! I have built a coop and Ohio brooder and everything is in place to to receive chicks this week! I've been a lurker here for a while now and always have room to learn and grow. I hope, with your help, to be successful in my chicken endeavors.
