Oldest Chicken

I have parrots that are 16 and 11 years old. I know they can live to a ripe old age.

I know chickens can live to be old too.

I was wondering who has the oldest chicken.

My oldest is 8 weeks.

I have two SL wyandottes that are nine years old and one ameraucana that is a bit older but I'm not sure of her exact age because I got her as an adult. All three are healthy and laying.

I had a bantam cochin/new hampshire red cross that lived to be 13.

The oldest I've ever had one get to is 3 years, but I've had bad luck like that.

The average age for a backyard chicken is 5 - 8 years, but it is possible for them to get to 15.
