So I am fairly sure this is a roo, but am looking for confirmation. I don't care either way, just want to know so I can make accommodations as needed.

S/he is 13 a week olive egger. Comb/face is usually light pink, but flushed from being caught.

Looks like a boy to me, but I'm definitely no pro at determining gender. Lots of red in the face and comb. Hard to tell for certain, but I think I see pointed saddle feathers, and the color pattern is rather irregular. I am just not positive due to age.

Just to be clear, I meant the chicken's age, not my own, lol.
:lau

I am on the same page, it is looking quite rooish-but feathers I would think should be quite pointy are actually looking fairly rounded. :hmm the face is not normally so red, but flushed because I caught it.
It is only a tiny bit more red than another 100%pullet who is the same age (Wyandotte)

that's a huge comb for a pullet of that age... so this is a cockerel. That said, the coloring leans cockerel as well. Should be getting in those male specific saddle feathers soon.
This is what I have been thinking too, just every once in a while I second guess :D
One of my friends had 16 Easter Egger pullets earlier this year. We both though she had atleast 4 rooster based on coloring, and curly tail feathers. Only one turned out to be a rooster! That experience made me second guess this one.
