Olive Egger rooster needs a new flock

This is Scout. He’s 23 weeks old and needs a new home. I raised him thinking he was female, and so he was handled a lot and thinks we’re buddies. He rushes at me sometimes, but not my husband. I think it’s just me, and we don’t need two roosters. Olympia, WA.
He’s just beautiful, really sweet with the pullets, and good at watching for hawks.

Wish 8 could take him he sounds adorable! But I got too many roosters!

We processed him on Sunday, and we’re making rooster fricassee this weekend. I was really sad to do it. He’d just gotten too aggressive and we only need one rooster. We had a good cuddle and chat beforehand.
I’m even more upset at the hatchery for screwing up the sexing on those five birds. I got pretty attached to the cockerels, especially Scout.
