We make soap, and one of our bars is for sensitive skin and it's made with infused oils like rosehip and chamomile.

Our chickens love rosehips, as they have stripped the rose bush in the back yard of it's fruit as soon as they could get to it, but I'm wondering if giving them the mash after we strain the oil off would be good for them. I was just thinking of throwing it in with their sprouted grain to give them a little bit of seed to pick at as well. It's just olive oil and rosehip, so I don't imagine a bit each day would be harmful, would it?

Also, what about the chamomile mash? We don't have any right now, but for in the future.

Thanks

Yes, all are safe to give to chickens in treat quantities.
Sorry, but I just saw this reply now. Thank you for responding, and I will get the bag out of the freezer tomorrow to start giving them their treats. Probably a better time of year for it anyhow. :)
