OMG AVATAR SYSTEM help needed

ok, so i uploaded an image on my uploads and made it so it would size it for an avatar. so than i copy and paste the thumbnail and the img thing below it and click the upload button and nothing happens, getting frustrated i hit browse, go to the old file, try to upload it and it says its too big, so of COARSE it actually DOES something when i put in the big one, but i do the img thing and WHAT THE HECK? its getting me really frustrated

Did you upload the photo to photobucket? Try rigth clicking the img then hit copy...maybe if you were highlighting it you may have missed something. Hope that helps.

no... i didnt use photobucket, just uploaded the file from the disc to comp, comp to my uploads

Okay try this...
go to the avatar you want..
right click and choose "save as"
it will go into your "my pictures" folder
go to BYC avatar upload page and click browse
find the pic that you just saved and double click it
then click upload

If it says the image is too big then it might be a BMP file (Bitmap), if you save it as a jpeg it might work.

Avatars need to be uploaded from your desktop. Make sure the "size on disk" is under 15kb, and that pixels are less than 100x100. They can't be HTML linked.
