my birds are laying like CRAZY. This morning I go out to feed and water them,

and sonny is in the nest box. I go over to her to get/see the eggs and she starts sqauking at me.

shes been setting all morning so far. She got down to eat long enough for me to see she has three little

eggs....Sonnys just now fully getting over being deathly sick back in the fall...

-sigh- hm. would the chicks be

really developing now? I'd feel bad if I threw them out..but I really dont want chicks right now..

why sonny?

WHY not wait till' spring?

Ahhhh, she wants to be a momma, she doesn't want to wait till spring. More than likely, they are developing. I had one hatch under a broody in early February once and it was arctic cold outside. I wouldn't really recommend it unless your set up has a fully heated building, IMO.
