OMG everybody's Broody!

We think alike! My husband did that after I posted this and it came out great. I had three big girls in there overnight. Gonna check to see if any have broken yet. The buff (Fancy Pants) has been in jail serving time for 4 days. Speckles for 2 and Raven only went in yesterday.

I haven't had any luck with more than one in my broody jail, but mines small, so I'm not sure if that's it, or the raging hormones probably make the hens more agitated, or something.

I agree with you! Broody hens definitely don't help. I can't say much, even with 18 hens, currently have 3 broody ( altogether have had 10 gens this summer) I can get anywhere from 10-16. Yesterday only got 10 but temps are horrible this week. Temps are upper 90's with heat/ humidity making it feel triple digits. They say today 7/16/25 will feel 105F. Yuck!
