Having issues huge issues with the neighbors and with thier kids. Never in my life have I wished I could spank someone else's kids. To night they walked all over my freashly planted garden over the sting barrers, broke a really expensive basket ball net, distroyed my yard with toys and to round it all off the parents could care less that I was lecturing them! You think that they would send the kids home, I would! I'm not a babysitter! I have 5 kids already and used to babysit so really I don't want more kids, now that my kids will leave a garden alone, I can't have one because of someone else's kids! If they touch my new pear tree or grape vines I swear.....

Well...you have every right to explain to the neighbors that you would rather their kids not come into your yard/property. Explain all of the damage that has been done if needed.

ETA: Or run a few strings of electric wire around the garden and zap those little ingrates...heeheeheehee...

Hang it there, it'll be okay. At the previous residence, the neighbor's young daughter would through the used diapers from her kid over the 5ft wooden fence into our yard - one day I came home from work to find 6 freshly loaded pampers in the backyard. Our daughter was 4 at the time, so needless to say, it was a worry for us, never knowing when one might appear from the heavens. When I talked to the daughter's father about it, he blamed the cat for dragging the used diapers off. I gave him a handful of trash bags and suggested that if that didn't work, I would buy him a trash can.

It's sad what passes for parenting these days....

I feel your pain.We lived in 2 mobile home parks the first 15 years of being married.It was a constant battle with kid's.Kid's would just walk in my house, took my daughter's stuff ate our food baaaaa.I did some babysitting but found sometime's I had 9 kid's in my LR and fighting over kiddie pool toy's everything and They weren't even supposed to be there !I was never so glad to get out of both place's.We don't have close neighbor's here that's why We moved to country.My kid's are grown now but have the grandson 19 months full time but he is a handfull but at least I don't have to deal with more TG.Hope thing's get better for you.I would go to neighbor's and let them know ASAP that they are destructing your property.We had to do in past and well if parent's can't keep up with their kid's then they shouldn't complain if someone politley ask for recouperative damage's or take control of where their children are!If they are allowed to free range that much without supervision as much crime and child abduction that is out there now someone need's to open their eye's and let them know what thier kid's are into.

Call the police and charge them with trespassing then send the little ingrates parents a bill for the damages. If you have exhausted all other options, this is the best way to go about it. I WOULD NOT just lay down and take that. It's YOUR YARD, YOUR GARDEN and YOU RIGHT to have the little snots stay out of it.

Any chance of informing the parents on laws regarding the destruction of private property?
You could also see about having the kids busted for trespassing or slap a restraining order on the whole family for fear of continued destructive behavior.

Send the parents a bill... that will get thier attention. Replacement cost of destroyed things... Go on Ebay or wherever you have to and find the broken item (s)... print out a copy and send them a bill... Then threaten to take them to small claims court and tell them to keep their distructive "spawn" off of the property.
