So I was out free ranging my almost 5 week old girls when one gives out a warning cry and simultaneously they all make a bee line for the open coop door. I do not know what spooked them but they are refusing to return comfortably to free ranging for now. They are all in the coop and when I open the door for them to come back out they step one foot out and then quickly run back inside squawking loudly. Glad they have good instincts!
